Abby H. - CVT

Abby's career as a certified veterinary technician began with HRAH in December 2003.  Caring for animals comes naturally for Abby. She grew up with many pets — dogs, cats, fish, gerbils, hamsters and guinea pigs. She attended three years at Hamline University and then decided to follow her heart to Argosy University, receiving her veterinary technician degree in 2001.

Abby enjoys spending time with her family and friends, making crafts, reading, working out, gardening, watching movies and dancing.

Abby's furry family members include; Pacer, her 1l year old pit bull, her cat Neumann and numerous guppies & neon fish. But, Abby doesn't limit herself to domestic pets either... she would love to have a pet squirrel to add to her mix someday!

Looking forward, Abby plans to continue growing in the veterinary technology world. She would love to travel, spend time volunteering and being happy in all she does!

Abby’s favorite things about working at Hudson Road Animal Hospital are her awesome coworkers and the relationships she has with our clients and their pets.

Darcy N. - CVT

Darcy joined the HRAH team in April 2011 and we are so thrilled that she came to work with us!  Darcy received her AAS degree as a veterinary technician in 2007 from Globe University and became certified.  Ever since she was young, she has had an interest in animals and science.

When she is not at Hudson Road, Darcy spends her time with her husband and son, Nicholas. In the summer, Darcy likes to run with her new dog Gunnar, shares new adventures with her son and spends her free time at the gym.

Since she began, Darcy's favorite thing about working at HRAH is having the opportunity to expand her technician skills.  She also enjoys the new challenges that each day brings and of course, seeing and working with the animals.

Kacy R.

Kacy joined our team in September 2011, coming to us from the University of Minnesota. Kacy graduated from Ridgewater College in 2004 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She brings experience in Emergency medicine and small animal care.

Kacy shares her time with her furry family: Sadie, a Shepherd mix and four cats, Toffee, Dante, Lily and Summit. In addition to caring for her pets, Kacy especially enjoys horror/suspense movies, cooking, baking and hosting dinner parties. She also spends time crocheting and taking care of her yard. She likes to keep busy!

Since joining the HRAH team, Kacy has enjoyed working with her co-workers and being a part of a different veterinary environment. She enjoys the interaction and having daytime hours!

Kacy is fun, outgoing and keeps our patients calm, comfortable and healthy.

Whitney T.

After completing her veterinary technology internship with HRAH, Whitney joined our team in April 2012.  Whitney did such a great job with us during her internship, that we invited her to stay and we are so glad she did! She thinks HRAH is a fun, fast-paced environment and appreciates how everyone gets along so well!

Whitney shares her time with three cats- Eppie, Munch and James.  She also loves birds and has two parakeets, Sky and Koomie.  In the future, she would like to volunteer her time with the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center or the Raptor Center at the University of MN.

When she is away from the clinic, Whitney enjoys spending time with her family, friends and of course, her "fur children".  She also likes to watch movies and read.

Whitney has a very friendly personality and helps our clients and thier pets feel more comfortable in the clinic.

Kayla B.

Beginning her career with Hudson Road as a kennel attendant, Kayla left HRAH to obtain her degree in veterinary technology through Globe University. She then came back as an extern during the summer of 2014. Once she completed her externship, we invited Kayla to stay on as an employee!

Kayla is now a veterinary technician with our hospital and we are very fortunate that she is here. Kayla also has two cats of her own: Kaylee is a short haired grey cat and Willow is a medium haired buff cat.

During her free time, Kayla enjoys backpacking and canoeing. She is also a fan of snowboarding during the cold MN winters. Kayla's future goals include traveling more often and growing as a technician.

Kayla really enjoys the team at Hudson Road for their compassion towards the animals and genuine care of their jobs. Kayla sees herself with our team for many years to come.
