Dr. John Clappier is President of Hudson Road Animal Hospital. Dr. Clappier graduated from the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, and also received an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences.
Dr. Clappier lives in Woodbury with his wife, Kellie. They have two dogs and three cats. Daphnie is a stubborn Lhasa Apso (aren’t they all?) who loves everyone’s food but her own. Velma was found through a rescue; she looks a little like a Chinese Crested; she is a mommy’s girl. Forest Whitaker is Dr. John’s first cat, excluding childhood pets. Forest was adopted from the local humane society. Theodore, or Teddy for short, was adopted from the local humane society as well. He is a tiny orange and white kitty with a pushed in face. The newest member of the family is Lennie, a orange Persian with a personality all his own. Having five pets keeps life fun and interesting. Dr. John and Kellie also have a large freshwater aquarium housing several tropical fish.
In his free time, Dr. Clappier enjoys running, basketball, and website design. He participates in 5k races around the metro area and plans to run in a marathon some day.
Dr. Clappier’s favorite part of Veterinary Medicine is the investigation. He likes working through cases and solving pets’ problems. He looks forward to working with you and your pet, and helping solve whatever problem ails them.
